* a real browser, ships with joys built in

your boring browser,
but ours.

Chrome blocks the kind of joys we ship. So we built our own. Forked from brave-core, the joy runtime is native — no store review, no service-worker death, no telemetry. Same joys, same library, same agent loop. Just yours.

* how it's different from chrome

three small things,
big difference.

a — store-free

no Web Store cap

Chrome's MV3 forbids remotely-hosted code, which is the whole point of joys. Our browser ships them natively — no store review, no kill-switch.

b — native runtime

joys run natively

No content-script injection latency, no MV3 service-worker death. Joys load with the page, the agent has direct access, the sandbox is real.

c — privacy first

built on brave-core

We forked Brave's hardened Chromium core. Tracker-blocking, fingerprint randomisation, no telemetry. The privacy work is already done.

macOS — universal (Apple Silicon + Intel)
v0.1 — alpha preview

Build Electron preview en attendant le brave-core fork. Joys natifs, tabs, URL bar, ⌘⇧J pour la Joy Bar. macOS unsigned — clic droit → Ouvrir au premier lancement (signed .dmg dès qu'Apple Dev validé).

* same project, different chassis

same joys, same library, same agent loop. Just a browser instead of an extension — so the flagship joys (the ones Google would block in a heartbeat) can ship. read the manifesto →
